Beginning with a foundation in design process and an overview of the history of furniture, students then engage in a series of studios where they are able to build projects of increasing program culminates in a significant project reflective of the student's capabilities at the time of graduation along with a Professional Practice seminar for students to more easily transition to the work place and understand design industry standards and practices. Exceptional facilities at the North Bennet Street School's location in Boston's historic North End and MassArt's Huntington Avenue campus give students the space and resources to pursue their goals.
