Ruggero Deodatos masterpiece and father of lost footage films. A film crew has gone missing in the Amazons, a team of professionals are sent to search for them. They dont find them, instead they find films which the missing film crew took. Back home, a TV company is eager to show the films the missing film crew took on TV when all hell breaks loose. Both in this film and in real life. Ruggero Deodato was inspired to make the movie after seeing his son watch violent news reports on TV. He noticed that the journalists focused on the violence, and believed that some news angles were staged to capture more sensational footage in the Vietnam War and the Italian Red Brigades.
