He originally worked for a saddlemaker in Grand Junction, Colorado, and started out doing repair work. He later worked for a saddlemaker in Wyoming, where he developed his tooling and pattern-making art. Denny had his own shop in PFI here in Springfield, MO, for over 17 years.
