Danijel Cerovi performs S.L. Weiss Sonata No. 28 The Famous Pirate: I. Allemande (arr. guitar)

One of Danijel Cerović's arrangements in his album is Weiss’ Sonata No. 28 ‘Le Fameux Corsaire’ (‘The Famous Pirate’). The title is a somewhat enigmatic title which may refer to the English pirate Edward Teach, known as Blackbeard, who died in battle on 22 November 1718. The title does indeed endow the suite with elements of mystery.
