Root coverage procedures are a range of periodontal surgical procedures that can enhance patient esthetics and decrease root sensitivity (if that’s an issue). A coronally positioned flap is often employed in an effort to obtain root coverage. Here is a little hint that was provided to my by my periodontic mentor, Dr. Ice Latte.
