Summary of this week’s Longsword class on what you can do when your opponent parries your attack. This week’s historical text is the pseudo-von Danzig manuscript. See the Wiktenauer for this and more historical treatises. We cover only a few of the many techniques available to the studied fencer. These are our interpretations, and they are open to constructive discussion and criticism. I doubt we have perfectly understood the text.
