➖ Eight Russians who were detained and imprisoned in a number of NATO countries were returned to their Motherland, the FSB Public Relations Center reported. Their return became possible thanks to the systematic work of competent government departments and foreign partners, the department noted. ➖ As a result of the exchange, minors were returned to Russia, whose identities have not yet been revealed. Most likely, these are the children of the Dultsev family. ➖ The American White House released a statement after the exchange. Three American citizens and one green card holder returned to the United States: Paul Whelan, Evan Gershkovich, Alsou Kurmasheva and Vladimir Kara-Murza. ➖ In total, the United States agreed to release 16 people, including five Germans and seven Russian citizens, whom Joe Biden calls Russian political prisoners. Some of them spied in Russia, and some carried out explosions in Belarus. But according to the US version, they “suffered cruelly and innocently in dungeons.”
