1963 Tonka Ramp Hoist Flat Bed Tow Truck Restoration Ramphoist

I purchased this 1963 Tonka Ramphoist Flat Bed Tow Truck off eBay December of 2020. This one was missing it’s gear rack, the metal bar the rack attaches to, as well as the back ramp. Outside of the rust and pitting that was on the toy, it was overall in great shape. The winch plastic was broken and I purchased a used one which I then Retro bighted to remove the yellowing. I’m still learning on making rubber and epoxy poured parts but am getting better with each project. This is the first colored epoxy plastic part I’ve made which it ended up taking an extended period of time to dry to the full cure, I believe it was due to my mixture of the coloring dyes. Overall I was extremely happy to add this roll off tow truck into my collection and will be sure to use it as it was intended, bringing in broken down trucks to get fixed up. Thank you for watching!
