The most recent data on China's missing population, available online, is from the “White Paper on Missing Persons in China“ released by the CCP on February 25, 2021. The report showed that in 2020, there were one million reported cases of missing persons, averaging 2,739 people per day or two people every minute. Despite claims of a significant decrease from 3.9 million in 2016 and 2.6 million in 2017, it's noteworthy that 2020 was during the COVID-19 pandemic. Given the CCP's strict measures, including health codes, extensive digital surveillance, and omnipresent cameras, the fact that over a million people disappeared is alarming. This raises questions about governmental negligence or potential complicity. #chinaobserver All rights reserved.
