US President Joe Biden flubbed his words during a speech in which he touted a $3 billion high-speed rail line project. During a speech in Las Vegas, Mr Biden said the project would cost “over a billion three hundred million trillion three hundred million dollars”. “What’s most worrying is that he was reading that from an autocue,” said Sky News host Rita Panahi. This comes as Donald Trump has nudged ahead of Joe Biden in national polling, showing a further decline in popularity for the president. In a hypothetical head-to-head matchup, Trump beat out Biden by four percentage points among voters who were surveyed by the Journal.
