Eddie “The Chief” Clearwater is another Mississippiian transplanted to Chicago. He moved here in 1950 as a after establishing himself as a gospel musician playing for with a number of groups including the 5 Blind Boys Of Alabama. He became a blues man after working with the likes of Magic Sam, Otis Rush and others. Since then he has become a fixture on the Chicago & international blues scene.
