ARTIFICIAL is a Portal inspired physics-based first person Sci-Fi puzzle adventure set within a futuristic mining colony where something went seriously wrong. ARTIFICIAL is a physics-based Sci-Fi adventure where you can push, pull, lift or throw almost any object you come across. It’s set within an abandoned mining colony that was set up on a large asteroid, but now seems to be home to something malevolent. Along with a little guidance from your AI buddy you’ll make your way through the remains of the colony, solving environmental puzzles, avoiding hazards, discovering secrets and unravelling the mystery of what happened there. The ARTIFICIAL demo takes around 20 minutes to play through and features the first few levels of the game and one advanced level to show off some of the more complex mechanics. The environmental design is incredible, with its debris-littered levels managing to be eerily atmospheric while still being home to lots of cleverly crafted puzzles. The way you can grab and manipulate most objects in the levels is very impressive and allows for a little more flexibility to solving puzzles. It makes for a very enjoyable Sci-Fi puzzle adventure with a real physicality to the game world. Highly recommended.
