One woman who during the Second World War would become very close with Adolf Hitler was Magda Goebbels. She was the wife of Hitler's propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels, and she even relied on Hitler for marriage counselling at times. But she was an ardent Nazi, and was a woman who believed that she could not live without Hitler and Nazism. But as the Second World War turned against the Germans, she criticised the Nazi dictator but would go to the Fuhrerbunker in the final days of the war. She was one of the last people to see Hitler alive, but after his death she decided to bring an end to her life. Inside the garden of the Reich Chancellery outside of the bunker, Magda and Joseph Goebbels died. But then as the Soviet Red Army took control of the area where the bunker was, their bodies along with Hitler's were buried hastily.
