Be among the first to get your hands on it here Originally a double-framed metal garage, Coledale Beach Studio is now a light, bright and compact house overlooking the ocean. Originally home to interior designer Cushla McFadden and her family of 4, McFadden’s mother now calls it home. Constructed from prefabricated panels, the striking exterior features two garage-like bi-folding doors that open onto the open-plan living, kitchen, dining and bathroom that hide behind a curved wall. A set of sliding doors on the opposite side of the room open directly only a closed deck, creating cross ventilation and adding to the expansive feel of the double volume space. A set of storage steps, which house the TV and the bulk of the studio’s storage, lead to an enclosed mezzanine bedroom that looks out onto the ocean through a large glass interior window.
