The 3700 is the original Nautilus, a time only with no seconds hand and a date. It is powered by a 3rd party movement, rather than an in-house Patek movement as you'd see today. The MB&F, by contrast, is hardly the hype machine the Nautilus is. It's the first perpetual calendar of its kind, with a nearly unbreakable design wherein everything can be set independently. Essentially, the watch is really two watches in one, where the time and calendar as functionally separate pieces of horological technology.
