I have had a dream: a deserted wide street, a crowd appears, gaining momentum, walking towards me, most of the participants in the procession being African Americans. They walk peacefully, but they are shouting something in unison. When I woke up, this image did not leave my consciousness for a long time. It was gaining more and more shape, there were already hungry, thin to the bone children, tears, dirt and torn clothes. Just a couple of days later I came up with the slogan “Fuck Your War“! Arriving at the studio in Live Stars, I told my guitarist Sasha that I urgently need to write a song where there will be only a heartbeat and the voices of people shouting this slogan in unison. Sasha quickly made the track and I asked the staff of both the club and LS studio, to record only 2 sentences, one in Russian “Niet voine“, the other in English “Fuck Your War!“ ... It was Tuesday, and on a cold day of November, I had already gathered a film crew and shot my first short film.
