Lord Sri Balarama is known as ‘acyutagrajaḥ’ - the elder brother of the Supreme Lord Krishna. He is the plenary expansion of Lord Krishna who descends to assist the Lord in His various pastimes. It is said no one can approach Lord Krishna without getting the mercy of Lord Balarama. On the occasion of the auspicious advent of Lord Sri Balarama, Their Lordships will be offered an elaborate abhisheka accompanied by melodious kirtans and Vedic chants.
