Guildford, Surrey. Some good shots of a red bubble car driving up a ramp onto a river boat. The bubble car parks on the deck of the vessel, the family on board wave to people on the bank as the boat pulls away. The boat has a turntable that allows the car to drive off either side at river-moorings. The boat builder is working out a way to make the car's engine power the boat. Various shots of a paddle steamer, the 'Guildford Belle' chugging up the River Wey driven by its builder, Mr. F. C. Mitchell. It is an exact replica of a Mississippi showboat. M/S of a woman in the boat's cabins making tea. The woman takes a cup of tea to Mr. M. C/U of pistons in the boat's engines. M/S of the boat chugging away from the camera. Cuts exist - please see separate record. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
