Today I'll be going over my new AK 74 setup, featuring the Midwest Industries Alpha Series kit. Since posting my 10,000 round review video on my PSA AK-74, I decided to send the rifle back to PSA, to get it refurbished with the newer gen 2 spec parts. Gen 1 PSA AK 74s exhibit some weird wear patterns on the lugs, which is not typical on other 74s of different manufacturers. They have since fixed this issue with the gen 2 versions of the guns. After receiving the rifle back from PSA, I wanted to change the look of the gun, so I decided to try out some of the newest offerings from Midwest Industries (the Alpha Series furniture).
