German Expressionist silent film by actor and filmmaker Henrik Galeen. Restored and reconstructed by Filmmuseum München (2020) by combining two prints: a Spanish colour edition from Archivo Nacional de la Imagen y la Palabra – Sodre in Montevideo, preserved by L’Immagine Ritrovata in Bologna, and a German release print copied by Gosfilmofond (Belye Stolby). Image restored in 1999/2019. The music score composed and played with several instruments by Stephen Horne in 2020, recorded at Orpheus Studio (London).
