I primarily play Alyx on Hard difficulty and I use the following launch options: -console -vconsole -novid hlvr_main_menu_delay 1 -fullscreen sv_gameinstructor_disable 1 Sometimes I adjust the smooth locomotion speed of Alyx with: hlvr_continuous_normal_speed 200 hlvr_continuous_combat_speed 200 Other times I leave the above at default and adjust the host_timescale CVAR to increase the overall game speed.
