You rely on him, he relies on you.“ _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Almost two decades later, but this show and this pairing remain truly unparalleled for me. My last Spuffy video got to 900k recently and that just blows my mind and it makes me so happy that the buffy fandom is still alive and kicking even now! Cause I will never tire of watching this show and spike and buffy will always hold a special place in my heart. I tried focusing on their connection and how their relationship got to evolve along with their self-growth. They both brought out the worst and then the best version of each other out. Buffy learned to accept herself and accept love, Spike learned what real love really is and how to be a better man. They understood each other like no one else did. And in the end they learned to trust each other and their relationship became so much stronger and I still wish they had had more time together to explore that.
