Embroidered Butterfly Hairpin - Stumpwork Embroidery Tutorial - How to make DIY 3D Hair Accessories

In this DIY video, I'm demonstrating how to create this butterfly hairpin using stumpwork embroidery techniques. On the back of the butterfly, I'm using felt to cover the stitches. In addition to hair accessories, you can also use the same technique to create a flower or butterfly brooch. The embroidery includes Long and short stitch, Satin stitch, French knot, Buttonhole stitch, Blanket stitch, Bullion knot, Split stitch, Couching, and wired fabric slips used to create the 3D butterfly using the wire wrapping technique.
