Про медвежонка --->> еще одно видел про Будругана выше в моих списках видеозаписях. Очень забавные медвежата=)) Hands-shadow theater Budrugana was set up by Gela Kandelaky in 1982 in Tbilisi. It was meant to be on tours in remote and hard-to-reach regions of Georgia. But because of the lot reasons the theater gave its first performance only in 1991 when the Georgia got independent. It happened in Paris on festival Les Semaines De La Marionette A Paris. At that time the play greatly impressed an audience and got an approval reviews from critics. The Budrugana theater managed to survive through the hard times of the Georgia. Time after time it went abroad to give its performance in the USA, the Germany or the Japan. In 1998 the Budrugana theater finally performed for a Georgian audience on the National Georgian Art Festival Gift (Tbilisi). But soon after the theater split because of the financial difficulties. In 1998 an experimental cinema group of Institute of Theater and Cinematography of Shota Rustavely watched the play of Budrugana theater. The group was formed by Gela Kandelaky from the young people who had left Abkhazia because of the military conflict. The students got interested in the hands-shadow theater and in 2002 it got a new life and a new name - Budrugana-Gagra in honor of a small beautiful city on the sea shore in Abkhazia. From then the Budrugana-Gagra theater performed more than 60 plays in the remote villages, in schools, boarding schools, residential care homes, orphan asylums. All the plays were charitable. Today the theater goes on foreign tours (Germany, Turkey, Lithuania). In Georgia its plays can be watched in Tbilisi national theater of Shota Rustavely and on different festivals. In recent years the theater took part in the international festival Tbilisi. The evenings of modern music with the multimedia projects and with the participation of German musicians.
