Pakistan is planning to install first renewable 300 MW floating solar panels power energy project in Ghazi Barotha and Tarbela Dam. The floating solar panels will cost $325 million and will be completed within 2 years. The new floating solar power panels project will generate 300 megawatts of cheap electricity will be implemented in the Tarbela and Ghazi Barotha barrages. The floating Solar panels will be first of its type in Pakistan and it will be placed above water bodies to provide low-cost electricity, making this a one of a kind project conceivable.
