It really is a great honour & privilage to be shown around some special spaces within ISKCON Bhaktivedanta Manor in Watford. Bhaktivedanta Manor was donated to the Hare Krishna Movement by George Harrison (who was a singer with the famous 1960's group “The Beatles“. I am often humbled & left speechless that somebody could be moved spritually, that he wanted to give the Hare Krishna a spiritual home... Bhaktivedanta Manor (a Victorian building) was built in 1884, since 1973 it's been a Hare Krishna Temple. Many of the original features of the building have been preserved such as Srila Prabhupada's Rooms (Darsham Room, Bathroom, Bedroom) and even the beautiful Victorian plumbing & sink. Hare Krishna movement was started in 1965 by AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada stayed at the Temple from 1976 to 1977. Former Beetle George Harrison (who sadly passed away in 2001), but his memory lives on through his music. A
