Parts of Britain under water, with warning of more severe weather

Flood hit parts of Britain, blocking roads and causing travel disruptions. The Meteorological Office warned of continued outbreaks of heavy rain in southern and central parts of the country. One Bedfordshire resident said he had never seen such flooding in the 10 years he had been living there.
