Cerrone - Supernature (1977) With his 1976 debut solo album Love in C Minor, French drummer Marc Cerrone brought the lushness and sensuality of Eurodisco to deluxe new symphonic heights. But with the title track of his third album, he twisted the futuristic elements of Donna Summer's “I Feel Love“ into a similarly synthetic, but far more sinister sci-fi direction. Set to collaborator Alain Wisniak's foreboding fusion of prog-rock, space disco, and Italian horror soundtrack music, future new-wave star Lene Lovich foretold of a time when animals tainted and mutated by agricultural chemicals took their revenge on humankind.
