The Golden Sutra is an interpretation of colors of buddhism, created for a project about the Longzangjing. The Longzangjing is the Imperial Tibetan Buddhist Canon, a library of Tibetan Buddhist works created per a king emperor’s order. This sacred scripture was created in five holy colors (yellow, red, green, blue, and white) with letters written in gold. All visuals were created on paper with custom ink, acrylic paint and golden flakes. Thanks for watching! About the Artist 🎨🎥🖌️ Roman De Giuli is a German photographer and filmmaker, specialized in practical effects and experimental fluid art. High resolution stills and 8K videos are captured with macro lenses to cover tiny areas in enormous reproduction scales. Roman does extensive studies of organic patterns, their behavior and movement. With the help of music and sound design, he transforms the abstract narrative potential of his hand made visuals to experimental montages with a cinematic character.
