“Forest Reptile“ is an American science fiction action film directed by John McTiernan, based on a screenplay by brothers Thomas. It was released on June 12, 1987. The film stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers, Elpidia Carrillo, and Jesse Ventura. Filming took place in the jungles of southern Mexico, near Palenque and Puerto Vallarta. The story follows a group of American mercenaries who encounter an extraterrestrial creature in the jungles of Central America. As they engage in this battle, the humans face losses and are forced to abandon the technological advancements of civilization, resorting to the primal instincts of ancient hunters for survival.
