Olkhon Island has been the home of Buryiat tribal peoples, as well as throughout Irkutsk and Buryiat areas of Russia. Here, my tour group visited a demonstration village, learned about Buryiat culture, had a Buryiat snack and did a Buryiat dance with Buryiat music
