Shelby is set to continue its legacy of high-performance vehicles with the introduction of the 2024 Ford Shelby F-150. This super truck, limited to just 800 units for the 2024 model year, will be available starting this summer. Based on Ford’s Lariat trim F-150 4x4 SuperCrew, it starts at $130,000, with an optional supercharged version priced at $139,995, delivering an impressive 785 horsepower. Shelby American’s president, Gary Patterson, highlights the vehicle’s versatility, emphasizing its capability for both off-road adventures and city driving, honoring Carroll Shelby’s spirit of combining power and fun. The 2024 Shelby F-150 builds on the success of its predecessor with significant enhancements. It features a V8 engine with a standard 400 horsepower, which can be nearly doubled with the supercharger option. The truck is equipped with a FOX 2.5 factory race series shock system, 22-inch Shelby alloy wheels, and a Shelby by Borla CAT-back exhaust. Its advanced engineering includes performance rear traction bars, adjustable dual speed controls, and a 3-inch lift system by BDS. Shelby American Vice President of Operations and Chief Designer, Vince LaViolette, expresses pride in the truck’s development, noting the extensive investment in performance engineering and technology. The interior of the 2024 Shelby F-150 features a carbon fiber trim kit, billet racing pedals, and embroidered floor mats, complemented by a serialized console plaque. Externally, it boasts a Shelby dual intake hood, body-color fender flares, and power running boards with rock guard trim and entry lights. The truck’s aesthetic is completed with Shelby striping and badges.
