Aladdin: A Million Miles Away

Video: © Kendelia Videos. Disney’s Broadway musical Aladdin is currently playing at the Sands Theatre in Marina Bay Sands Singapore. The musical began on 21 July 2019 and will run till 1 September 2019. Singapore is the first and only Asian stop for this musical production by Disney Theatrical Productions. This video is a preview of the song, “A Million Miles Away”, sung by Graeme Isaako who plays Aladdin together with Shubshri Kandiah playing Jasmine in this musical based on the 1992 Academy award winning animated movie, Aladdin, by Walt Disney Animation. The song was performed after Aladdin meets Jasmine for the first time. Following a dispute with an apple vendor, they flee to the rooftop home of Aladdin. There, they discover similar feelings of being “trapped” and Aladdin thereafter suggests to Jasmine that they run away together.
