Saving people when they themselves were doomed to die: Pilots of the plane that crashed in the Moscow region died as heroes The crew of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 plane that crashed in the Moscow region before dying saved people in local settlements from death. As it became known, there were three people on board - commander Evgeny Bulavko, pilot Maxim Lukmanov and flight attendant Vladislav Kharlamov. At the time of the breakdown, the route of the aircraft passed through the villages of Maloye Karasevo and Apraskino. The pilots tried their best to steer the aircraft away from populated areas and they succeeded.
