One man took to nature to cope with his grief. Nick Gardner, 81, says he knew he needed to find some way to preserve his mental health after the life he had been living for more than 30 years was suddenly gone. His wife was suffering from osteoporosis and Alzheimer’s disease and needed 24-hour care. So Gardner set a goal to climb all 288 of Scotland’s Munro Mountains.
