Speaking of Iron Age and early Medieval human sacrifices in the Nordic World, as well as the ritualization of violence, and how historiography and cinematography portrays these subjects. I would like to suggest two videos I’ve done on the case of bodily destruction and sacrifice as a form of transformation that provokes a beneficial effect, and radical change, in the life of the community of the living.
