A relaxing drive from downtown Durham to Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I've been spending a lot of time experimenting with different gear and methods for filming drives to get the best results. This time the camera (HERO8) is mounted to the roof of the car which produced much better results IMO. Unfortunately, the camera I used for this video has a panning stabilization bug / design flaw (when driving) that the software developers refuse to acknowledge or fix. I even returned the camera and bought it again to rule out hardware and got the same results. Therefore the next driving video will be with a new and different camera that I am already in the process of testing. Regardless, I hope you enjoy seeing these two places. Please try to ignore the occasional panning glitches. 4K video drive for relaxation, stress relief, meditation, study and sleep. As with all my videos, this is not looped or layered, this is a real-time recording, filmed by me, using the best mobile microphones, cameras and audio recorders available for extremely realistic results. “Durham is a historical haven, a sanctuary for the spectacular, and a rough-cut gem waiting to be unearthed. Durham’s been a destination on the move for more than 150 years. Perhaps it’s time you discovered it too. Maybe you’ve heard about our celebrated food scene, top-notch universities or buzzing startup culture. There’s just something about this place. It transcends categories. Durham has something intangible, inspiring and absolutely alluring. Before our sidewalks were lined with award-winning eateries, they were traversed by our first generation of industrious entrepreneurs. Seeds of equality and justice were planted here long ago, and they have blossomed into a colorful community where murals tell our proud story of inclusivity. We are where inspiration is found, where all are welcome and where the wild, wonderful, bold and beautiful come together in unexpected ways. Want in? Come discover Durham.“ Read more: “Chapel Hill is a multicultural university town that is home to UNC-Chapel Hill and a resident population of 59,000.
