Greek Islands (1961)

Various Greek islands. M/S of a man standing on a boat as it sails into a harbour, lots of people are standing on the quay and there are hills in the background. Another man unhooks the rope and prepares to throw it for tethering. L/S of many people and donkeys stood behind a rope, M/S of tourists getting off the boat. The narrator tells us this is Aegina, one of the Greek islands. M/S of a policeman walking in front of the people and their donkeys and out of the picture. Various shots of tourists getting on to the donkeys. L/S of a ruined temple on the hillside. M/S as a man helps a tourist called Gaye down from her donkey. M/S of Gaye and a male companion as they walk up towards the temple. The narrator says this temple was dedicated to Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom. Various shots of the temple and the view out to sea.
