This is my most beautiful time lapse so far. A total eclipse of the moon is a rare event, but this was the second one this year. I used what I learned from the first eclipse to be able to capture this eclipse even better. I found a spot in the desert near Brothers, Oregon to set up the Celestron Nexstar tracker and Canon SX50 super-zoom camera. They both performed well, keeping the moon near the center of the frame, and taking perfectly exposed pictures with the new histogram metering function I just added
