A quick in-box preview of Valom's 1/72 scale Handley Page Mk II aircraft. Designed as a heavy bomber for the RAF but quickly downgraded to a transport and air ambulance role, the Harrow was first deployed in 1937 and was removed from service by the end of World War 2. Powered by Pegasus X and later Pegasus XX engines, the Harrow has a distinct appearance with its high wings and long fuselage. Later versions saw the gun turrets removed and fuselage windows installed - these variants were often referred to as Sparrows.
