This was a simple port of escape_02 (the final level of Portal) into Half-Life: Alyx because I wanted to see how easy it would be the port something like this into Source 2 and VR. It was pretty simple and only took a day, but there's a few quirks and bugs that I didn't bother fixing mainly because I thought it was good enough. The cores are very small so you can pick them up and they don't speak because I would've needed to set up a custom scene for them, the screen and most particles didn't work either but I think it came out well.
