PORTRAIT PAINTING PRACTICE IN OILS || Self portrait studies to improve technique || Art Vlog

In this video I share three self portrait paintings as I try to understand the complexities of portraiture and work to improve my painting technique. I’ll share a few tips as well as Timelapse’s of a couple of those portrait attempts. The purpose of this practice was to gain confidence in portrait painting and to also build up to creating more successful paintings with a slightly looser feel.
