. This is a wild-caught specimen feeding on a snail in captivity. This snake has a blunt head and teeth positioned anteriorly in the lower jaw. The lower jaw works back and forth to almost pull/scoop the snail out of its shell. There are very few snakes that are inectivores but it would seem that this is a very plentiful prey item in the wild. This is the least common color morph.
