I have been planning this project for almost a year now. I wanted to do something that I've never done before: shoot on Super 8 (or even film in general). So after some crash course research, I hoped for the best and waited for what was shaping up to be a very busy Summer -- then COVID hit. Like many, it completely changed our idea of what our summer was going to be. My goal still stayed the same but now I wanted to make sure it perfectly captured what the “normal“ once was. For this technically being a test roll, I've learned a lot during the shoot, especially with the very present auto-exposure issue and the limited amount of film is made with a single roll but that's what you get for using a camera this old. I look forward to shoot more Super 8 in 2021. Camera: Canon 814 AZ Film: Kodak Vision 3 Color Negative 50D Process & Scan: Pro8mm Music: ‘Are You Bored Yet?’ by Wallows
