In the last 13 years of her life, Doris performed at many Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS events and became a regular and audience favorite in The Annual Easter Bonnet Competition, having performed in 12 editions. Doris was a stalwart supporter of BC/EFA and the money raised for The Actors Fund and more than 400 AIDS and family service
