It begins by going over the different types, including aluminum, stainless steel, enamel, textured, with rock, and even used as chalkboards. It then covers the production process of two different types of panels, one based on porcelain enamel and the other is rock based. Finally, it looks at different applications of the panels and at what locations they have been used. This includes in industry, restaurants, schools, and civic centers. One of the more famous example is the Terminal Market at Hunt’s Point in the Bronx.
