Thousands of women and men have gathered for a global 'solidarity' march in the wake of the inauguration of US President Donald Trump. Some 2.2 million people were expected to march globally to promote women's and human rights, with 500,000 people in Washington and 100,000 around Britain. Actress Emily Watson (bottom left) was among the protesters in Washington DC.
