Greece - Matala, Red Beach ( ) Trail (June 2021)

In the Cretan town of Matala there is an alternate beach, known as “Red Beach“ or Kokkini Ammos by the locals. The walk is about 20 min and consists of steep cliffs. It is quite a hike to get there, but well worth it. At the end you reach an orange colored beach with nice sand, which is mostly 'clothing optional'.
