The nearly two kilometers long Long Bienne Steel Bridge that connects the banks of the Red River was built from 1898 to 1902. The contractor was Daydé & Pillé. The Long Bien Bridge became the longest of its kind in Indochina, and later - the legacy of the Vietnamese people from the colonial period, which lasted almost a century.
