A biplane taxies across the airfield. A crowd of people gather around the plane. A man with a kangaroo tries to manoeuvre the animal across in front of the plane. Applause and three cheers greet pilot Jim Mollison, the aviator who has broken the record for flying from Australia to England. Mollison walks at the head of the crowd across the airfield. A man makes a speech on behalf of the Air Ministry makes a speech of welcome. . Mollison says a few words of thanks.
